Online Professional Development Program

Take one of CEC’s new online courses and get the training you need--delivered right to your desktop. Autism Conference-Livingston, MT- Chico Hot Springs Resort

The Autism Conference is full at this time (150) and we will begin putting people on a waiting list.  As we did last year, we will try and confirm with everyone by early September and take people off the waiting list in the order registrations are received.

Presenters:     Dr. Tom Mates, PhD., Psychologist, Post Clinical Director Wilmington                          TEACCH Ctr., Associate Clinical Professor, Medical School UNC-
                        CH, and Post Doctoral Fellow in Pediatric Psychology and
                         Developmental  Disabilities.

                        Attorney, Elizabeth Kaleva, currently in private practice; prior
                        experience with the Montana School Board’s Association, education  
                         law specialist.

 Kaia Mates, MSW – Educational Consultant, affiliated with Division    TEACCH, UNC – Chapel Hill, currently involved with the Early            Intervention Project for Children with Autism.

 Audience:       Principals, Superintendents, Special Education Administrators,
                         Psychologists, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Resource
                         Teachers, Paraeducators, Parents, and Advocates

Cost:               The only cost for participants will be their travel and lodging.  Other
                        costs of the conference are provided through a grant from the Office of
                        Public  Instruction’s Special Education Division
