CHILDREN with BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS
provided by many Montana educators and has established “The Educator of the Year Award” to recognize teachers of the emotionally disturbed in our state. The recipient of this award will be honored during the awards ceremony at the Annual MCEC Conference on Diverse Abilities.
Criteria:
1.
The recipient must be currently involved in
the provision of services to students with
serious emotional disturbance or behavioral disorders.
2. The recipient should have demonstrated exemplary performance over a period of time as a teacher/educator or provider of services- exhibiting such qualities as innovativeness, imagination, creativity and ability to inspire. The educator’s achievements in these areas are clearly recognized by members of the profession and others knowledgeable of the candidate at the local, state and/or national level.
